Steps to register for SBI Online (net banking)
To register on the SBI Net Banking Portal,
Step 1: Go to the official website of SBI Online
- First, go to the official website of SBI Internet Banking at onlinesbi.sbi
- Next, click on the ‘Login’ button under Personal Banking.
- Next, click on the ‘Continue to Login’ button.
- Now click on the ‘New User? Register here/Activate’ option.
- A new page opens up.
Step 2: Open the account registration form
- From the drop-down menu, select ‘New User Registration.’
- Now, click on the ‘Next’ button.
- The account Registration form will open.

Step 3: Fill out the account registration form
- On the form, enter the account number and CIF number.
- Next, enter your Branch Code (IFSC Code).
- Now, select your country and enter your mobile number.
- Now, select the facilities you want from the ‘Facility Required’ drop-down.
- Now enter the captcha code and click on the ‘I Agree’ button.
- Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter it in the specified field.
- Next, click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
Step 4: Enter ATM Card details
- Now select the ‘I have an ATM card’ option.
- Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- Now, select an active ATM card from the list and click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
- Now, fill out the card details.
- Next, enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

Step 5: Set net banking username and password
- Now, you will be asked to set your internet banking username and password.
- Select them as per your choice.
- Now check the ‘I Agree’ checkbox and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
- You will be successfully registered.
