Steps to reset SBI Netbanking profile password

To reset your SBI profile password on the OnlineSBI portal,

Step 1: Go to the official website of OnlineSBI

  1. First, go to the official website of SBI Internet Banking at onlinesbi.sbi
  2. Next, click on the ‘Login’ button under Personal Banking.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Continue to Login’ button.
  4. A new page opens up.

Step 2: Log in to your Internet Banking account

  1. On the new page, enter your internet banking username and password in the specified fields.
  2. Next, enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ button.
  3. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  4. Enter it in the specified field and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. You will be logged in.

Step 3: Open the ‘My Account & Profile’ page

  1. Next, click on the ‘My Account & Profile’ option.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Profile’ option.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Change Password’ option.
  4. Next, select the ‘Approval through ATM Debit Card’ option.
  5. A new page will appear.

Step 4: Enter your Debit Card details

  1. The account details will be shown on the screen.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Proceed’ button. 
  3. Next, select the ‘Card No.’ and click on the ‘Confirm’ button. 
  4. Next, select the ‘Valid To/Expiry Date’ from the specified field.
  5. Next, enter the ‘Card Holder Name’ and ‘PIN’ in the specified fields.
  6. Next, enter the captcha in the specified field and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.
  7. A new page will open.

Step 5: Set Profile Password

  1. Next, enter the new Profile Password in the specified filed.
  2. Next, enter the same password in the ‘Confirm Profile Password’ field. 
  3. Next, select the ‘Hint Question’ from the given options.
  4. Next, enter the ‘Hint Answer’ in the specified field.
  5. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button. 

The Profile Password will be reset successfully.
