Details required to close e-RD using Yono SBI

You will need your Internet Banking details and registered mobile number to close your e-RD account using Yono SBI.

In case you have forgotten your Internet Banking details, you can find your username and reset your password online.

Steps to close e-RD (Recurring Deposit) using Yono SBI

To close recurring deposit account through Yono SBI,

Step 1: Open the ‘Yono SBI’ App

  1. Download the Yono app from the Play Store or App Store.
  2. Log in to the app using your Internet Banking Username and Password or MPIN.
  3. The dashboard will open up.

Step 2: Open the ‘Recurring Deposit’ option

  1. On the homepage, tap on the ‘Deposit’ option.
  2. Next, tap on the ‘Recurring Deposit’ option.
  3. Your Recurring Deposit accounts will be displayed.
  4. Next, tap on the RD account that you want to close.

Step 3: Close Recurring Deposit (e-RD) account

  1. Next, tap on the ‘Close Recurring Deposit’ option. 
  2. Next, tap on the ‘OK’ button.
  3. Next, select the bank account where you want to credit the amount of your RD.
  4. Next, tick the ‘Terms and Conditions’ box.
  5. Next, tap on the ‘Confirm’ button. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
  6. Next, enter the OTP received in the specified field and tap on the ‘Next’ button.

The message of closing your Recurring Deposit successfully will appear on the screen.

By following these steps, the Recurring Deposit will be closed successfully using YONO SBI app.

You can also download your SBI interest certificate and Balance certificate online though the same app.
