  3. Address
  4. SBI Internet banking username and password

Steps to apply for PMJJBY scheme through OnlineSBI

To apply for PMJJBY scheme,

Step 1: Go to the official website of OnlineSBI

  1. First, go to the official website of SBI Internet Banking at onlinesbi.sbi
  2. Next, click on the ‘Login’ button under Personal Banking.
  3. Next, click on the ‘Continue to Login’ button.
  4. A new page opens up.

Step 2: Log in to your Internet Banking account

  1. On the new page, enter your internet banking username and password in the specified fields.
  2. Next, enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Login’ button.
  3. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  4. Enter it in the specified field and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  5. You will be logged in.

Step 3: Select PMJJBY

  2. Next, click on the ‘Social Security Scheme (PMJJBY/PMSBY/APY)’ option.

  4. Next, select the ‘Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)’ under the ‘Select Scheme’ option.

Step 4: Enter account details

  1. Next, select the ‘Account Number’ from the specified field.
  2. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button. 
  3. A new page will open.
  4. Next, select the CIF Number under the ‘Select CIF Number’ option. 
  5. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  6.  A new page will open.

Step 5: Enter other details

  1. Next, select the ‘State’, ‘District’, ‘Sub District’, ‘Village’, and ‘City’ from the specified fields.
  2. Next, select the ‘Gender’ from the specified field. 
  3. Next, enter the ‘Email’ in the specified field.
  4. Next, enter the ‘Aadhaar No’ in the specified field.
  5. Next, select and enter the ‘Nominee Details’ in the specified fields.

Step 6: Submit application

  1. Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button. 
  2. The needed payment will be deducted from the account and the status will be displayed on the screen.
